What is thread0?
thread0 is an enterprise AI workspace installed on each PC. People keep using their own AI subscriptions; the company gets visibility and rules, sensitive data is protected on the PC before it is sent, and outside experts collaborate with limited access.
Can administrators read prompts, responses or files?
No. The console shows metadata such as members, devices, AI in use, usage, policy versions and control events. thread0 servers do not store conversations, files, commands or credentials. Content sent to an AI goes to that provider under its account, region and data terms.
Do people need new AI subscriptions?
No. thread0 works with the Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini subscriptions people already have, company cloud routes on AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI or Azure AI Foundry, and local models. thread0 does not resell AI usage, and each provider’s terms and limits still apply.
How is sensitive data protected?
When enabled, personal data and the customer or product names the company defines are replaced with pseudonyms on the PC before a message or attachment is sent. The restore table is encrypted on the PC and never sent. If a required control cannot complete, the message is not sent.
How does the pilot work, and what does it cost?
Organizations start with a free pilot: a first team, then a department with outside guests, then company-wide use with a results report. The pace of each step is set with your company. Individuals and teams up to 5 use thread0 free. Paid plans are listed on the pricing page.
